Blanket of Books
A community Print and Stitch project funded by the National Lottery Community Fund bringing people together to explore books, connect with reading, learn about library services and reduce social isolation. Fifty-six books inspired the creation of sixty-three panels, produced by community members from East Folkestone to Romney Marsh. Each panel was stitched together to make the blanket which is currently on tour at Libraries across the Folketsone & Hythe district, celebrating National Year of Reading 2026.
