Folke Art CT19 was our pilot partnership project with Kent Libraries. We delivered a series of arts sessions and projects to members of the public in East Folkestone funded by South Eastern. We delivered a wide selection of activities from zine making, painting, collage and print. These sessions engaged adults of all ages and from a wide demographic. This partnership project has led to ongoing work with Kent libraries leading to further creative health projects developing creative literacy and signposting participants to library services.
Participants created a zine guidebook to Folkestone
and held an exhibition at Wood Avenue Library.
The aims of Folke Art CT19 was to reduce social isolation, improve mental health and increase knowledge of library services and support.
