Folkestone and Hythe District Council and Sunflower House commissioned Community Art Kent to redesign part of Sandgate Road Car Park, with the aim of reducing tagging, brighten up the car park and make it feel safer for everyone.
Artist D Weston created a design based on folkestones landscape which include the hills, downs, the warren, beach, sea and sun.
"The piece has made a huge difference. I cannot get over how light the end of the car park feels now. It would be lovely to extend it." says clare, visiting from Gravesend.
